In Zagreb, on October 1 and 2, the Association of Cities organized the Urban Forum: productive, green and fair urban development, where it was discussed what the green transformation of cities offers and how to achieve economic, social and ecological sustainability of cities.
Agency Bolder was hired for media relations. At the forum, it was pointed out that the green transformation of cities brings the adaptation of urban areas to a more sustainable way of life, and this is a key topic for many local authorities. The goal of such a transformation of cities is to reduce the negative impact of cities on the environment, create a healthier urban environment and strengthen long-term resistance to climate change. Excellent examples of the cities of Novska, Dubrovnik and others were highlighted at the conference.
In addition to the good examples of cities that use artificial intelligence in the digitalization of cities, building the infrastructure necessary for the development of sustainable cities and uniform integrated urban development, it was also discussed what the role of cities is in the green transition and increasing resistance to the effects of climate change, and what can be done.
The goal is to have as many productive cities as possible that enable efficient use of resources, innovation and provide the infrastructure support needed for long-term development. Therefore, it is logical that the construction of productive cities is essential for stimulating economic growth, creating new jobs and improving the quality of life.
